Daryl Daleen

Daryl played for Wentzville Wildcats from 1988-92.

He kept the spirit of football alive by going on to be an Inside Linebacker and Asst Recruiting Coordinator in 2004 for Newberry College, then moving on to be Asst Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator for Pikeville University in 2007. Daryl continued by becoming an Asst Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator and Academic Coordinator at University of New Haven in 2014 then on to pursue a position as a Special Teams Coordinator and Linebacker Coach at Central Connecticut State University then an Asst Athletic Director and Head Coach of the Woodstock Academy program. He came back to his roots by returning to Wentzville Holt High School in 2018 to be the Defensive Coordinator.

Those who know him describe him as a “defensive mastermind” that has a major impact on any team that he becomes a part of. He has changed programs for the better and has led teams to championships. His continued dedication and desire to give back to the game is parallel to none. His whole family has given so much to the game of football and to the community. His family was deeply rooted in the Wentzville Wildcats by coaching, giving rides to players, working chain crew, coaching teams. They were All In!
