RAINOUT INFORMATION - Saturday, April 30, 2016

The city may close the football fields if conditions are not playable.  To help communicate such events, the city has established a Rainout Line.

Rainout Line – Below are just a few ways this tool can be used:
1. If you have a smart phone it would be in your best interest to download the free Rainout Line app to your iPhone or Android.  The app will allow you to check the status of our fields at any time.  You will want to search for the “Wentzville Parks and Recreation” and then you can select which facilities within our park system that you would like to see the status on.  We can update the fields to be a GO!, Delayed or Cancelled depending on the weather at the time.
2. You can use the app to receive text alerts to fields within our park system.  You have the ability to decide on which fields you want these text and you can change the settings for the text at any time.  As soon as we update the Rainout Line with the information it will send you a text almost immediately.
3. You can use the app to email you the update that we make to the fields
4. You can call the hotline at 636-322-6020 and for this particular program you would select option 2 for Progress Park Football Field.
